Koh Larn (Pattaya)

             

            Summer trip this year for the kids was "Koh Larn". it was their first time to be on a boat they look so excited. I booked Koh Larn Villa for 2 night with 1100฿ a night from 1300฿

            

                Sunday morning, we've had sandwish for breakfast at home. 4 hrs to Pattaya , we've "Somtum Pooma Pa Prapai" for lunch. as we were so hungryyyy, everything was good taste but the plates was too small.

                After lunch, we drive through  Walking Street, South Pattaya to Bali Hai Pier, park the car there. buy boat ticket 30฿ each. It took about half an hour to the island.

when we arrived, the hotel pick us up by a small car which look more like Took Took to me. as the road there are so narrow, the size of that car was understandable.

             The hotel was clean and quiet,ofcourse, it was Sunday evening. others people has checked out and get back.

        The room was not big, the bed was queen size. the hotel manager may see that 1 big guy, 1 woman and 2 big kids would not fit that queen size bed, so he give us an extra bed for free. xxx

            That evening we rent a bike and get around the island. "Tawan beach" is the most popular, lot of people, lot of food and service, you can find everything you want here just like in Pattaya. the price was just a little expensive.

             The beach I personal love was "Thein beach". the water was very clear, quiet, peaceful. The kids were very enjoy just doing NOTHING here.

          Next beach was "Samae Beach". This beach are popular to foreigner, a lot of food vendor offering fresh fish,crab and shrimp. We walk on a pontoon bridge to the sea, can see small fish all the way.

         Last beach was "Nuan beach", This beach was good but nothing much to see, so we get back to Thein beach.

          Food on Koh Larn was good and not expensive. Fried rice was just 50฿. 7-11 available at the front pier. 

          This Pizza from Pizza Mania at front pier, Medium size seafood was incredibly good with just  250฿.

         Jae Jum is a cheapest food vendor in Koh Larn I believe. the taste is also good too. fried rice was 40฿, Fried squid 80฿ , fried king fish 100฿, hot and sour soup 100฿

Last day, we end up at a coffee shop at Bali Hai peir. see u next trip.
